Pledge of Professionalism: Bilingual

Belonging to something is a meaningful behavioral driver, particularly for entry level foodservice workers. The Team Rally Pledge of Professionalism harnesses this motivational power by the individual professional participating in a group pledge, read aloud in their native tongue, signed together and posted in a highly visible location. As new employees are signed on, the manager/trainer can repeat this exercise with a minimum of three people. (If training one, recruit two of your best leaders from the staff as co-trainers and "witnesses".)

Foodservice workers must be good handwashers from day one. This priority and personal accountability can be acieved quickly by

1. showing the Handwashing For Life video, The Why, The When & The How, followed by
2. executing the ProGrade training instrument and
3. closing with adding their name/s to the Pledge.

This becomes a living poster, to be updated regularly.
