Etc/GMT-6

Dr. Christine Moe, Emory University, will share her award winning Norovirus Control work with a group of foodservice chain leaders attending the Spring session of the NRA Study Group meeting. Dr. Moe is the recent recpient of NSF's prestigious Food Safety Leadership Award for her work in advancing our understanding of norovirus. Product research chemists at GOJO parlayed this breakthrough into a breakthrough of their own, developing a noro-effective, Food Code compliant, alchohol hand sanitizer.

Jim Mann, Executive Director of the Handwashing For Life Institute, will be available to report on the progress of these developments being tested in a large scale foodservice operation. This technology has been incorporated into Handwashing For Life's SaniTwice™ protocol for use where water is not readily available.

Many attendees of this event will remain in San Antonio to participate in the Conference for Food Protection and will attend Handwashing For Life's Hand Hygiene Issue Incubator at the Omni Colonnade, Omni Suite (20th floor).
